SOME BEAUTIFUL 60S AND 70S VINTAGE FESTIVAL DRESSES IN URBAN VILLAGE

With temperatures rising and the sun showing her friendly face more and more frequently, we are seriously starting to see the first signs of a promising English summer. But as much as high temperatures, long evenings in the pub and holidays tempt us, summer symbolizes yet something else – the start of the festival season!

The Great Escape festival in Brighton officially kicked off the festival season last weekend and we cannot wait to pack our bags, tents and wellies and head down to the fields ourselves. But with festivals having become increasingly commercialised in the past years and even high street clothing chains jumping on the bandwagon by offering special retro festival ranges, it takes some real vintage goodies to truly stand out from the crowd.

70S VINTAGE HIPPIE FESTIVAL DRESS CURRENTLY IN URBAN VILLAGE

Maxi and floral dresses, denim shorts, embroidered tops and waxed jackets have been festival staples for years now, but why spend a fortune on vintage inspired items on the high street that will be worn by hundreds if you can get festival ready for a fraction of the money and be truly individual at the same time?

Here at Urban Village, we have lots of beautiful flowing 60s and 70s hippie maxi dresses, 40s and 50s floral numbers – all starting at just £20 – and of course Levis denim shorts for only £15! Plus, we will have some more original waxed Barbour jackets hit the shop soon, starting at £45!

Of course, we also have the suitable attire for every male festival goer, offering a wide range of old school Adidas and Nike trainers from just £15 and lots of American vintage t-shirts and sweaters from the 70s and 80s for £10 or less!

For original vintage festival fashion, just pop down to Urban Village and we will be more than happy to help you find your unique look!

Love
