DESCRIPTION
Beautiful original 1950s dress by Peggy French Couture and Lilian Smith of Southport. Midi length in a peach silky fabric with lace overlay and diamante and beading detail. Fastens with zip and hook & eye with fringing around the neck.
CONDITION
This dress does have some signs of wear, there are some marks and discolouration which are well disguised in the pattern. It looks as though the hem has been let down at some stage and it has had some pleats sewn into the back around the neckline presumably to prevent gaping, these could easily be removed though if required. Some of the beading is missing from around the neck. Overall a beautiful dress which may benefit from a little TLC, priced to reflect.
